Meeting with Prime Minister of Croatia
Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia held a meeting with Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of Croatia within the scope of his visit to Davos today.
Dignitaries reviewed the prospects of deepening cooperation between the two countries.
Irakli Garibashvili spoke about the progress achieved by Georgia on the path of EU integration, thereby highlighting the significance of the EU Membership Application filed by the country. According to the Prime Minister of Georgia, EU integration is a historic choice made by the Georgian people and that solid support of partners is vital in this process.
Irakli Garibashvili expressed gratitude to his Croatian colleague for the unwavering support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia. In response, the Prime Minister of Croatia reiterated steadfast support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
It was noted at the meeting that Georgia and Croatia have great potential of deepening economic relations, thereby highlighting the need of respective steps to be taken towards using the full potential.
