At Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan was greeted by Vice Prime Minister/Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Azerbaijan Zurab Pataridze, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia Faig Guliyev.

Within the scope of the visit, a one-on-one meeting between Irakli Garibashvili and Ilham Aliyev is scheduled, to be followed by joint press statements by the Prime Minister of Georgia and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Ilham Aliyev is visiting Georgia together with a governmental delegation.
