Meeting with Georgia’s new Ambassador to the State of Israel
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Zaza Kandelaki, Georgia’s newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of Israel.
The conversation in the meeting at the Administration of the Government focused on the close partnership and friendly relations between Georgia and the State of Israel.
Irakli Garibashvili and the newly appointed Ambassador discussed the priority directions of cooperation with the State of Israel along with plans for the future.
Attention was paid to the ongoing events in the Near East.
Irakli Garibashvili congratulated Zaza Kandelaki on his appointment to a new position and wished him success in his future endeavors.
Zaza Kandelaki thanked the Prime Minister for declared trust.
Zaza Kandelaki has years-long experience working in public service. At different times, he worked at the Academy of Sciences, the State Museum of Tbilisi, and the Office of the Head of State of Georgia, also having served as Member of Parliament of Georgia. For years, Zaza Kandelaki held different positions at the Foreign Ministry and Georgia’s diplomatic missions abroad. He served as Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Poland and Hungary.
Prior to his appointment as Ambassador to the State of Israel, Zaza Kandelaki served as Georgia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
