Meeting with Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Robert Golob, Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, in the city of Granada, the Kingdom of Spain.

At the meeting, the Prime Minister of Georgia elaborated on the topic of Georgia’s European integration and pointed out that the country has already implemented a large portion of the 12 EU recommendations, that the process is well underway, and only few matters remain that will be regulated in line with the EU’s recommendations. At the meeting, Irakli Garibashvili stated that Georgia deserves the candidate status.

The Head of Georgian Government expressed hope in Slovenia’s firm support at every stage of Georgia’s accession to the European family.

Irakli Garibashvili congratulated Robert Golob on the election of the Republic of Slovenia as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
